Simplicity Is Best

Discontented - I wanted more.
Each page I flipped,
Rubbed open envy's sore.
A fleeting happiness - in
Accumulating things to store.

Now boxes fill my cluttered house
And bring distress.
Since more is less
And less is more;
I long to simplify this mess.

With all current the lack of integrity and debt issues that our leaders, government and companies are displaying, it is nice to hear some great news about companies that have owners and managers that a re exemplary. Premier Design is one of those companies. Last night, I went to a jewelry show at a friend's home. I have know about this company and its jewelry for about 8 years. A lovely neighbor (whom moved a year ago) sold it and I have hosted about 3 shows over the years. I love their jewelry which is a great quality and comes with a lifetime manufacture defect guarantee. It is not fine jewelry like you find in a jewelry store, but it also is not rinky-dink jewelry at Target, Walmart or even department stores (not that I don't own my share of these inexpensive pieces, especially when I catch a 50-75% sale!) We Are a Nation of Citizens

Today will be a day we should all remember as a turning point in American History. April 6, 2009, our American President, Barack Hussein Obama announced at the global economic conference in Prague that "We (America) are not a Christian Nation..., we are a Nation of citizens..." It is evident that the man the majority of Americans voted for President is not a God-fearing man, and no matter what some may say, Jesus is not his LORD and Savior. He IS NOT a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ. President Obama was not making a statement of fact, in a repentful sorrowful way. Instead he was making a Presidential announcement for all the Nations of the world to hear proclaimed, "American IS NOT a Christian Nation..." in the world according to President Obama. As with the Internet's constant growth, I am always finding something new. Yesterday I found a website called 5 Minutes for Mom. And I discovered it because I saw a tweet about an event this site is hosting called Ultimate Blog Party 2009!
